SCH Development Gilson Way

Solihull Community Housing (SCH) started work on its biggest ever new housing development in September 2013, bringing £3.5m regeneration investment to North Solihull.

Steve Boyd, Chief Executive of SCH, which manages council housing across the borough on behalf of Solihull Council, said: "We are delighted to be helping to create new homes in an area short of modern affordable properties. This is a significant development that is going to help give the whole area a lift, provide housing that local people will want to live in and is another example of regeneration investment in North Solihull."

The single site development will consist of six two-bed homes, 14 three-bed and four four-bed properties and is expected to be completed by June 2014. They will be delivered to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, meaning the residents will benefit from reduced running costs for their new homes.
